Our Interactive Buoyage Course explains the key elements of the IALA Buoyage System in a clear, practical and exam-focused way. It takes you through the different buoyage regions, the main types of marks, their colours, shapes, lights and topmarks, and how to recognise and interpret them in context.

As with all Whitehorse courses, the focus is not just on memorising the facts, but on building real understanding. The course goes through each type of buoy in our detailed but practical style and, most importantly, gives you plenty of opportunity to test yourself through a wide range of quizzes and scenario-based questions.

The price given here (£30) is for one month but there are discounts available for longer terms and for Cadets. Two months is £50 and three is £70, saving you about 33%. Cadets are offered a further discount, so one month is £20, two is £35 and three is £50.
